39’3″ (11.96m) Fast ocean cruiser.
Beam 11’3″. draught 6′. Headroom 6’3″ with 6 or 7 berth accommodations. A good all round yacht with all the attributes of the 32 but larger. Suitable for coastal as well as ocean cruising, as with most Hartley sailboat designs. Plans for wind vane self steering are also available.
Plans are drawn for the hull to be constructed in ferro-cement but can also be adapted to wood strip-plank construction. If you are already familiar with steel plate forming the plans can also be adapted for constructing the hull in steel.
