Eastcoaster 16 Bilge keel

16′ (5m) traditional day sailer. For construction in plywood or as a mould for grp/frp.

Beam 7’4″. Plans give either centreboard or bilge keel versions. Draught with plate up is 9″ or 1’8″ as a bilge-keeler. Easily trailerable and launched by one person. Weight 650lbs.

Please note that extra details for bilge-keel construction are not enclosed in the regular plan set. Although bilge-keels are an option they are of course not recommended for easy launching and retrieving on a trailer.
