Dateline 51 – Study Pack

51′ (15.43m) Fast Ocean Cruiser. Beam is 14’10” and draught 7’6″.

A larger version of the Fijian 43. Drawings show 11 berths plus 2 temporary extra on setee by table. Many of the berths can be converted to lockers if not needed for sleeping. A 2 berth private cabin can be constructed each side of the engine. Royal Suva and Dateline accommodations are interchangeable.

Plans are drawn for the hull to be constructed in ferro-cement but can also be adapted to wood strip-plank construction. If you are already familiar with steel plate forming the plans can also be adapted for constructing the hull in steel.
