27′ (8.31m) Motor Sailer. Beam 9′. Draught 3’9″ or as a bilge keel version 3′
Plans are available for a rig with a bowsprit. With 4 berths and a toilet, many of these small craft have made extended ocean voyages. Cheap and easy to build, all parts can be made by the amateur. Drawings are provided for a wooden mast, as well as a cradle.
Plans are drawn for the hull to be constructed in ferro-cement but can also be adapted to wood strip-plank construction. If you are already familiar with steel plate forming the plans can also be adapted for constructing the hull in steel.
There is also a study pack available for this plan. Click here to view.
